OSIRIS Solutions Supports euroCRIS 2026 Conference
We are pleased to announce that OSIRIS Solutions, as one of the sponsors of euroCRIS, supports the CRIS conference taking place in May 2026. This aligns with our continued focus on open, interoperable research information systems and collaboration within the research community.
What is euroCRIS?
euroCRIS is an international, non-profit association that brings together experts in research information and Current Research Information Systems (CRIS). Founded in 2002, its mission is to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of standards that improve how research information is managed and shared worldwide.
A central pillar of euroCRIS’s work is the promotion and maintenance of the CERIF (Common European Research Information Format) standard. This enables interoperability between systems, ensuring that research data - from publications to projects and institutional outputs - can be exchanged and understood across platforms and borders.
Through its biennial conferences and regular meetings, euroCRIS provides a vital forum for researchers, institutions, funders, and technology providers to collaborate on shaping the future of research information infrastructure.
Why Supporting euroCRIS Matters
At OSIRIS Solutions, we work with open, standardized, and interoperable research information. CRIS platforms support transparency, research evaluation, and collaboration across institutions and countries.
Supporting euroCRIS contributes to:
- The development and adoption of open standards and interoperability, helping to reduce fragmentation in research information systems
- Collaboration between stakeholders, including universities, research organizations, and funding bodies
- Ongoing improvements in research information systems, supporting institutions in managing and presenting their research outputs
These areas align with our work on open-source CRIS solutions for research organizations. Furthermore, it strengthens our ambitions to adapt open standards for OSIRIS, such as CERIF and the German KDSF.
Our Commitment
As of 2026, OSIRIS Solutions has become an official sponsor of euroCRIS, contributing to the continued growth of the community and its initiatives. We are proud to stand alongside other organizations in supporting a vibrant, collaborative ecosystem for research information management. By sponsoring the euroCRIS conference, we aim to actively engage with the community, share expertise, and contribute to shaping the next generation of research infrastructure.
Looking Ahead
We are excited to participate in this year’s conference, connect with partners and peers, and explore new opportunities to advance open research information systems together.
If you are attending the euroCRIS conference, we look forward to meeting you there.
